You just can't have enough of it! That's the beauty of an enchantress called the Forest.Β It seduces you no end, and yet leaves you yearning for more. No matter how many times, no matter where; each time it appears pristine, like a virgin waiting to entice you with her magical charm. I have been to Bandhavgarh - MP, Tadoba - Maharashtra and Ranthambore - Rajasthan previously. Mostly,Β to see the beast, royal in all its element and capture a few moments behind the lens. Honestly, I have always been rewarded with grand sightings, but for one safari of my life when it rained. Recently, I had the opportunity to visit Nagarhole National Park (Kabini) in Karnataka that is a part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve. Meandering Kabini river winding through the forest with a backdrop of Brahamagiri mountains, the sandalwood & teak trees make a thicket that is home to tigers, elephants, leopards, black panther and Malabar squirrel besidesΒ a host of other animals and birds. Four days into the forest and I had an eyeful of the awesome fauna and flora besides several exhilarating moments with sightings ofΒ the beasts and the beauties. Be it a Tiger amidst forest in the foggy morning / a dusky twilight , a never before experience of one crossing the river Kabini or the chance encounter between the elusive Saya and the Scarface over winning the affections of Cleopatra, it is all like a magical dream. A herd of elephants in the river with spotted deer and mongoose at it's banks, a plethora of pretty birds makes a dream well lived for any wildlife and photo enthusiast. Eyeful, yet not heartful, I have come back wanting more, and more! And here I will be doing a few visual stories on the seductress Kabini over the next few days. Hope you all will enjoy living these stories in retrospect. And maybe even get inspired to be a part of such stories in future. Do Not Forget To Comment! Thank you.
